Residents of Kazan expressed concern about the drainage of sewage into Sredny Kaban Lake in social networks. Employees of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan left for the place and examined this territory, water samples were taken. During the audit, it turned out that sewage flows from the ownerless well and it must be registered. It was established that through the court the well will be transferred to the balance of the city.

Employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with activists of the Republican Youth Movement “Will Be Clean” held an environmental forum on the basis of the children's summer camp “Romantic” in Baltasinskiy district. The schoolchildren received recommendations to reduce the environmental footprint: reduce the amount of garbage, reuse packages for purchases, try to repair the failed item.

Non-compliance with environmental requirements was revealed by inspectors of the Southeast Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on the territory of the building of the Oncology Center in Almetyevsk. The metal bunker installed by the contractors for collection of construction waste was overfilled, and scrap metal, waste foam, cement, film, fiberglass and plastic containers were placed on the ground. As environmentalists found out, all four organizations involved in construction of the facility were involved in formation of the landfill. On this fact, an administrative case has been instituted under Part 1 of Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

A socially significant event “Literary Courtyard” will be held in 9 yards in all districts of the city of Kazan. The organizers are the Executive Committee of the city of Kazan, the Administration of Vakhitovskiy and Privolzhskiy districts of the Executive Committee of the city of Kazan, and cultural institutions of the city. The program is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of founding of the TASSR, Republic Day and Kazan City Day.

The Regional Youth Public Organization “Will Be Clean” of the Republic of Tatarstan received support for implementation of the projects “Young Naturalists of the Republic of Tatarstan” and “Gallop by District 2.0” in the Republican Grant Competition among children and youth public associations of the Republic of Tatarstan 2019. An emission cleaning system has been established at one of the Chelny enterprises after a raid of environmentalists. A month earlier it became known that the enterprise engaged in processing of metal products emits pollutants into the air without any purification.

Now the violation has been eliminated - facilities for cleaning emissions from sandblasting of metal products were installed and launched at the enterprise.

Federal State Unitary Enterprise “RosRAO” will carry out work on elimination of radioactive contamination in Chistopolskiy district. The company won the tender for rehabilitation of territories of non-projected radioactive waste storage, initiated by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The project of the work will be developed and agreed upon by the contractor with local authorities, the factory administration, federal and republican services. The recovered waste for disposal will be transferred to the “National Radioactive Waste Management Operator”. Work is scheduled to be completed by December 20.

Last weekend, the Aksubayevskiy Butter Plant took measures to dismantle the waste pipe. The progress of the work was personally inspected by the Head of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Akhmetzyanov. With participation of environmentalists, part of the dug pipe was cut and concreted by installing a plug.

The results of work on equipping gas stations in Zelenodolskiy and Pestrechinskiy districts with systems for capturing and recovering motor fuel vapors were reviewed by specialists from the atmospheric air protection department and inspectors from the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Currently, according to the 2019 equipment schedule, work has been done at 61 gas stations in Tatarstan, and by the end of the year a similar procedure will have to be implemented at another 16 gas stations.

The traditional summer walk of pupils of the Tyulyachinskiy kindergarten No. 1 turned into a creative and informative activity. Employees of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson for preschool children. During the conversation, children guessed riddles about bugs and butterflies, studied the characteristics of different types of insects.
