Aleksandr Shadrikov: elimination of accumulated environmental damage is one of the conditions for improving environmental quality

Federal State Unitary Enterprise “RosRAO” will carry out work on elimination of radioactive contamination in Chistopolskiy district. The company won the tender for rehabilitation of territories of non-projected radioactive waste storage, initiated by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The project of the work will be developed and agreed upon by the contractor with local authorities, the factory administration, federal and republican services. The recovered waste for disposal will be transferred to the “National Radioactive Waste Management Operator”. Work is scheduled to be completed by December 20.

During a survey of the territory of the city of Nizhnekamsk, inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a violation of environmental legislation. Near Pervoprokhodcev Street, inspectors detected an unauthorized dumping of industrial and consumer waste. The area of the violation was 30 sq. m. Environmentalists have calculated the damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 21 thousand rubles.
Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry's specialists have solved 5070 questions submitted to the Republican Public Environmental Reception. A total of 5,487 requests have been received since January 1.
An environmental lesson on safety rules in nature was held in kindergarten No. 22 "Kolokolchik" in Naberezhnye Chelny.
As part of the monitoring of the Yutazinsky district, inspectors of the Priiksky department revealed a violation of environmental legislation. On M. Zakiev Street in the village of Karakashli, environmentalists recorded unauthorized storage of construction waste.
