From June 3 to June 10, the expenses of these waterworks will be increased to 9000-10000 cubic meters/s and 8500 ± 500 cubic meters/s, respectively. The changes were made due to the intensive filling of the Kuibyshev reservoir.
As of June 2, the level of the Kuibyshev reservoir is at the level of 53.06 mBC at the Upper Uslon gauging station. Due to the continued increased inflow of water, the forecast level for June 10 will be 53.3 mBC.
More water is coming in than was initially predicted. Thanks to operational solutions, it is possible to optimally distribute water along the cascade. The next meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the operating modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade is scheduled for the end of the first decade of June. The meeting will discuss the modes of operation of reservoirs for the period from June 11 to July 10.
