Inspectors promptly left on the residents’ call
This evening, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a message from caring residents of Kazan, who again noticed foam in the drainage channel of the Privolzhsky district. Specialists of the territorial department of Rosprirodnadzor promptly left to visit the place. They recorded the presence of foam and took samples of water in the canal. The department does not exclude that a certain object could illegally connect to storm water networks and drain untreated sewage into them.
Let us recall that the inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology have already registered the presence of foam in the ditch leading to Lake Kaban, it was found that the balance holder of storm and sewer networks is the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Urban Improvement", which, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, are subject to federal environmental supervision.
