The Children's Ecological and Biological Center hosted a scientific and practical conference "Ecograd" within the framework of the XI Republican Ecological Festival of schoolchildren "Nature and us". Experts of the Zakamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan were invited as members of the jury.

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted an excursion for students of the Department of Environmental, Labor Law and Civil Procedure of Kazan Federal University. Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Olga Manidicheva and heads of departments of the Institution met with the guys. During the meeting, employees of the Ministry of Ecology told students about their work in the field of protection of atmospheric air, water bodies, land resources, as well as environmental supervision and methods of work to combat violations of environmental legislation.

The landfill with an area of 86 sq.m. was identified by employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during monitoring of the Chistopol district. Inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology went to Chistopol to inspect the territory. The fact of waste dumping has been confirmed. 

Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan examined the places of temporary storage of snow. According to the survey results, the occupancy rate of some snow storage sites was 20-30%.

From a vigilant resident of the Arsky district, the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received information about the illegal dumping of liquid waste on the 60 kilometer of the Kazan-Malmyzh highway, near the village of Vasilieva Buzha.

In the Kama territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, a campaign to collect spent power sources was held. In total, 44 schools, 4 kindergartens and the Naberezhnye Chelny "Children's School of Theatrical Art" took part in the campaign. Together, we collected 3 tons of 260 kg of batteries, which were transferred for disposal.

From December 26, 2022 to January 25, 2023, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan accepts applications for grants from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan to non-profit organizations (with the exception of subsidies to state (municipal) institutions) in order to financially support the costs associated with the implementation of measures for the accounting and control of radioactive substances and radioactive waste on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2023.

This holiday is a great opportunity to learn and appreciate the diversity of evergreen trees. To remind about this little-known holiday, inspectors of the Central, South-Eastern and Northern territorial administrations of the Ministry of Ecology conducted lessons in schools and kindergartens.
