Diffuse runoff of polluted meltwater into the Pshalymka River was found in the Arsky district in the village of Verkhny Pshalym. The inspector of the Northern Territorial Administration, together with specialists of the Environmental Supervision Department of the Ministry of Ecology, took samples of the surface natural water of the Pshalymka river (above and below the diffuse runoff). The results of the analyses showed the excess in natural water below the diffuse runoff for the following pollutants: for nitrites by 8.5 times, for iron by 5.3 times, for ammonium ion by 2.5 times, for phosphates by 1.6 times.
