The Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection of compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of biological waste management in the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the first two weeks of the sanitary two-month period, which started in Tatarstan on April 1, environmental agencies and supervisory authorities revealed 1,371 violations. More than half of the violations have already been eliminated - 730. 298 protocols were drawn up, administrative fines were imposed for a total amount of 130.5 thousand rubles. Every second violation (693) is associated with unauthorized waste disposal, 345 landfills have been liquidated.

From April 7 to April 14, exceedances of the maximum permissible concentration of hydrogen sulfide were recorded at two automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan. On AAPCS-1, located in the village Osinovo, with a maximum multiplicity of excess – 1.9 MPC and at AAPCS-3 on 76 Maksimova Street – 3.8 MPC.

Today, employees of the Ministry of Ecology together with leading ornithologists conducted an on-site survey of the territory of the Kamsko-Ustinsky district. The purpose of the survey is to choose a place to install artificial nests (hakes) for Saker falcons and discuss the organization of a volunteer camp to monitor the chicks.  

The XXI district ecological conference of schoolchildren "Ecology and me" for students of grades 6-11 was held  at the school named after Academician R. Z. Sagdeev in Buinsk. Ecologists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry also took part in the conference.

Today, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, the first air survey of Tatarstan districts in 2023 was conducted with the participation of Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilnur Gubaidullin.  The raid was carried out to inspect the territories of Kazan, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Tetyushsky, Buinsky, Kaibitsky, Apastovsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Zelenodolsk, Vysokogorsky, Pestrechinsky and Laishevsky districts of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources hosted a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Climate Policy and decarbonization plans of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Olga Manidicheva, representatives of organizations, ministries and universities of the Republic.

The Moscovsky District Court of Kazan obliged the violator to compensate for the damage caused to the environment. Earlier, the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology received an appeal from residents about an unauthorized dump in the village of Shigali in the Vysokogorsky district through the "People's Control" system. Inspectors carried out a visit, during which the fact of environmental violations was confirmed.

Inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and educators of the Children's Ecological and Biological Center No. 4 conducted an environmental quiz for the second-graders of the school No. 2 in Naberezhnye Chelny.

The 25th anniversary adventure sports and intellectual game on urban orientation and local history "Tat-Rus" will be held on April 22. This time it is dedicated to the artistic values of Kazan.
