Issues of climate policy and plans for decarbonization were discussed at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources hosted a meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Climate Policy and decarbonization plans of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Olga Manidicheva, representatives of organizations, ministries and universities of the Republic.

During the meeting, the action plan for the implementation of the strategy of socio-economic development with low greenhouse gas emissions until 2050 of the Republic of Tatarstan was considered.The members of the working group supported the Plan.

The target of low-carbon development of the Republic of Tatarstan is to ensure carbon neutrality by 2050.
