The head of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted eco-lessons for second grade students at the Baltasinsky Gymnasium and Baltasinsky Secondary School. Lenar Kasimov told the students about how each of us can help the environment.

According to the results of the analysis of the reporting of the Nizhnekamsk Zhilcomservice LLC in the discharges from the treatment facilities of this enterprise, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed excess content of pollutants. Inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan inspected the place of discharge of sewage treatment plants into the Uratma River in the village of Verkhnyaya Uratma, Nizhnekamsk district and took samples of wastewater.

According to the information received about the pollution of the Bugulminka river bank in the Bugulminsky district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan went to the place. During the survey of the territory, two landfills were identified. On one side, construction and household waste was stored on an area of 150 sq.m., on the other - car tires on an area of 75 sq.m.

In Kazan, under the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, comprehensive exercises were held to confirm the readiness of JSC "Kvart" for actions to localize oil spills and petroleum products.

At the time of departure, earthworks were not carried out, there was no equipment on the territory, however, inspectors recorded the removal of a fertile soil layer on the land plot.

On the opening day of the Eastern Economic Forum, the first International Forum "Falcon Day" was held in Vladivostok, where the Tatarstan project for the reintroduction of the Saker falcon was presented. Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a presentation of the project during the session devoted to effective methods of restoring natural populations.

Since June 1, in the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of operation "Clean Air", inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology together with employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan have checked 5,451 vehicles – 4,809 passenger cars, 118 trucks and 358 buses.
