The head of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted eco-lessons for second grade students at the Baltasinsky Gymnasium and Baltasinsky Secondary School. Lenar Kasimov told the students about how each of us can help the environment.
"In order to preserve nature, it is enough only to attentively and carefully treat all living things, take care of the world around us, and also carefully spend our natural resources. For example, to save water, sort waste, take things for recycling. We hope that you will not only use eco-habits, but also become active participants in our clean-ups and actions," said the head of the Northern TA of the Ministry of Ecology.
Schoolchildren, in turn, told ecologists about what eco-habits they already use in their daily lives. On the day of knowledge, the children gave the teachers eco–friendly gifts - instead of store bouquets, they handed flowers grown in gardens and homesteads, some made bouquets of dried fruits, sweets and even vegetables. In addition, students try not to use disposable plastic and carry a reusable water bottle with them every day.
At the end of the meeting, a mini-quiz "Friends of the Forest" was held for the students and books were presented to the children.
