Excess emissions of pollutants were detected in the exhaust gases of 147 vehicles. Cars with gasoline, diesel and gas engines are tested. Monitoring of the state of environmental safety of vehicles will last in Tatarstan until September 30. Inspections are carried out jointly with all territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology on the main highways, checkpoints and enterprises. This year, it is planned to inspect at least 6 thousand cars for the level of dangerous pollutants. Let us recall that last year, as part of Operation Clean Air, 6570 vehicles were checked on highways, of which 183 did not meet the required standards for emissions of pollutants in exhaust gases.
Let us recall that the main purpose of the event is to monitor compliance with the standards for the content of pollutants in the exhaust gases of motor vehicles and to prevent the negative impact of vehicles on the atmospheric air.
