A press conference dedicated to the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" of the national project "Ecology" and the role of the public in the fight against pollution of reservoirs was held today in Moscow at the Komsomolskaya Pravda press center. The results of one of the most important and relevant environmental projects of our country were discussed by representatives of the regions where the largest events took place, as well as the leaders of the rating of last year's campaign. 

In the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, a career guidance meeting was held with ninth-graders of school No. 18 of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told the graduates about the peculiarities of the profession and the main tasks that the inspectors of territorial administrations face. 

During a helicopter flyby, environmentalists revealed the fact of unauthorized waste storage in the Zainsky district. The area of the cluttered territory was 1381 sq.m.

Today, on the World Day without Paper, the first interim results of the large-scale All-Russian action "BoomBattle" became known. Tatarstan ranks first among all regions of Russia both in terms of the number of participants and the amount of waste paper collected. 

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted an excursion for students of the Department of Industrial and Environmental Safety and the Department of General Chemistry and Ecology of the Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev – KAI (KNRTU-KAI). 

In October, the first All-Russian Children's Environmental Forum was held in Chelyabinsk.   18 regional teams came to demonstrate their projects in various sections, such as "Clean Air", "Clean Country", "Clean Water" – these are 2.5 thousand schoolchildren from all regions of the country, including the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. 

Within the framework of the federal project "Clean Country" in Kazan, work is being completed on the reclamation of the Samosyrov landfill on Mamadyshsky Tract Street, with an area of 14.14 hectares. Now the work at the facility has been completed by more than 86%. At the moment, work is underway at the facility on the installation of a degassing system, the device of a fertile soil layer and the sowing of grasses. 

From November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024, the Republic of Tatarstan will take part in the International Exhibition-Forum "Russia". The event will be held in Moscow on the territory of VDNKh. It will demonstrate the most important achievements of Russia in a variety of industries. These are industry, energy, agro-industrial complex, transport, construction, science and culture, etc. 

The first snow has already fallen on the roads of Tatarstan, which means that some motorists face the question after changing tires: "Where to dispose of old tires?" Used tires are unsafe waste, they belong to hazard class 4.

The territory of the carbonate quarry in the Rybno-Slobodsky district has been reclaimed. This licensed quarry is located on the deposit of the Yanchikovskoye subsurface area and for many years belonged to JSC Rybno-Slobodsky Agrohimservice.
