Today, within the framework of the All-Russian clean-up day "Peculiarities of national cleaning" and the ceremony of awarding the winners of the republican contest "Eco-spring", an agreement on cooperation and interaction between the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan and the Fund for Support and Development of Environmental Initiatives "COMPASS" was signed.

Kindergartens, schools, organizations and representatives of the media received their awards today for their contribution to the environment. 

During the meeting, experts from the COMPASS Foundation, representatives of the public, the expert environmental community, regional authorities and businesses on environmental issues got acquainted with the experience of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan on the remediation of accumulated damage facilities.

Tomorrow we will announce the winners of "Eco-spring 2024". On June 15, an award ceremony will be held on the Lower Zarechye beach, where the absolute winners of the "Eco-Spring 2024" will be announced. The ceremony will be held in a new format, with interactive platforms and a clean-up day on the banks of the Volga River.

From June 8 to June 14, the automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan recorded exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants in the atmospheric air.

The Ministry of Ecology held a meeting of the expert commission of the state environmental assessment, where they discussed the limit of hunting resources extraction in Tatarstan for the period from August 1, 2024 to August 1, 2025. 

Inspectors of the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology, together with employees of the Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport in the Volga Federal District, carried out a visit to the Malinovka traffic police post.

The annual republican contest "Eco-spring" started on April 1. During the competition, the Ministry of Ecology received 1202 applications from Tatarstan residents. The competition lasted 8 weeks and was held in the format of a thematic marathon.

Today, PJSC Tatneft named after V. D. Shashin hosted an event dedicated to the International Day of Environmental Protection. Deputy Minister of Ecology Egor Tarnavsky took part in it.

Today, the Federal Agency for Water Resources held a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the modes of operation of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade.
