Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky administration revealed illegal storage of construction and household waste. The dump was discovered on the outskirts of Nizhnechekursky rural settlement.

In the cultural and leisure complex named after V. Lenin the premiere of the new season of the humorous children's film magazine "Shkodniki" and "Eco-Shkodniki" took place with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Damir Valiullin, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Environmental Education, took part in the event.

During the monitoring of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors from the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology identified an unauthorized quarry in the industrial zone of the city. During the survey of the territory, clay mining was not carried out, there was no equipment, but fresh traces of work were visible on the slopes.

Environmental lessons about wintering birds were held in Yanasalskaya and Bolshekibyakozinskaya primary schools in Tyulyachinsky district. The children learned a lot about the inhabitants of their native land: which feathered friends stay for the winter and how they adapt to the cold.

Today, the fifth humanitarian cargo collected by employees of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan has been sent to Severodonetsk, Luhansk region. The soldiers were provided with underwear, warm gloves, hats with and without a balaclava, wet wipes and towels.

Samat Vakhitov, Head of the Department of Regulation of Subsurface Use Relations, and Yulia Tyiplina, Head of the Department of Information Geological Resources and Monitoring of the Geological Environment, met with 3rd and 4th year students of the Department of Environmental Management and Water Management at the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance of the KFU.

Inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology took part in the charity event "Saving the Sea", organized by volunteers and the Neftekhimik hockey club in Nizhnekamsk. 

From 3 to 6 February, the regional stage of the All–Russian championship movement in professional skills "Professionals" in the competence "Environmental protection - Juniors" is taking place on the basis of Zelenodolsk gymnasium No. 5. This large-scale event, organized by the Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov, brought together nine young participants from Zelenodolsk district and Kazan on the competition site.

Within the framework of the International Conference "Study and conservation of the snow leopard in the world. Joining forces" The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan is holding a republican contest of ecological drawings among art schools. The competition starts on February 3 and will last until February 28, 2025.

In 2024, seven projects reached the final of the competition, the authors and teams of which received grants for the implementation of their environmental programs in support of the national project "Environmental well-being". Azat Khamaev, Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agroindustrial and Food Policy, Azat Ziganshin, Deputy of the State Council, Head of the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Ecological Society, and Egor Tarnavsky, Deputy Minister of Ecology, met with the young ecologists.
