In April, the XIII Republican ecological and geographical scientific and practical conference "Through search and creativity to perfection", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, was held at the Upper Arbash school.
During the conference, the organizers received 240 works from Kukmorsky, Sabinsky, Mamadyshsky, Vysokogorsky, Utazinsky, Novosheshminsky districts, as well as from Kazan and Nizhnekamsk.
Students and teachers defended their research papers in 3 areas: "Ecological and biological problems and their solution", "Human ecology: health, culture and quality of life", "Our contribution to nature conservation". Attention was also paid to the creative approach: an exhibition of drawings and handicrafts from discarded materials dedicated to ecology and conscious consumption was organized in the areas of "Ecomaster's Workshop" and "Creativity without borders".
The conference was attended by representatives of the education department of the Kukmorsky district and the Russian Geographical Society, environmentalists (including distinguished ones). The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan was represented by inspectors from the Northern Directorate. The participants discussed various aspects of ecology, including the separation and disposal of household waste, the creation of health trails, issues of environmental education and the education of ecological culture. During the conference sections, the young participants presented their ideas for improving the environmental situation in their area, as well as reviewed successful examples of other eco-projects. As a result, the authors of the best initiatives were identified in each of the areas.
Such events make it possible to unite not only the efforts of specialists whose work is related to ecology and nature protection, but also to involve young and enterprising people in solving topical issues. The synergy of different approaches makes it possible to develop environmental education, which supports the goals of the national project "Environmental Well-being".
