The Youth Environmental movement "It will be Clean" celebrates 10 years today!
The youth environmental movement "It will be Clean" was established on April 25, 2015 and is developing with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On this day 10 years ago, 150 people − the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Ecology, caring youth − held the first environmental event in the Park of Newlyweds in Kazan.
Over the years, more than 10,000 residents of Tatarstan have joined the movement, and the total number of participants in the events has exceeded 265,000 people.
Educational activities are one of the priorities of "It will be clean". Every year, activists conduct environmental classes in kindergartens, schools, colleges, universities and other venues. The movement also organizes profile shifts, forums, thematic online marathons, contests and festivals aimed at the development of ecological culture. Over the past 10 years, eco-activists have conducted:
● 3,664 environmental education events
● 75 yard camps and holidays "My ECO-summer"
● 31 contests
● 19 specialized shifts for children, tent camps and gatherings
● 17 conferences and seminars
● 12 profile shifts "It will be clean"
● 6 republican forums
Environmental protection is an integral part of the movement's activities. Since 2015, activists of "It will be clean" have held:
● 1,851 environmental measures
● 389 recycling campaigns
● 365 tree and plant planting campaigns
● 264 campaigns to protect animals
● 110 social campaigns
● 6 ecological tours
In 2020, the movement "It will be Clean" was recognized by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan for its contribution to the development of volunteer and charitable activities in the republic. In 2024, "It will be clean" it became the winner of the regional stage of the International award #TOGETHER in the nomination "Territory for life".
The "It will be Clean" movement is an association of people who take the initiative into their own hands and make their yard, city, and republic cleaner and more comfortable.
