Employees of the Ministry of Ecology on the eve of the Great Victory Day put the memorial to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in the village of Yambulatovo in order after the winter. In 2022, employees of the department took over the patronage of the memorial complex in the village of Yambulatovo. By May 9, 2022, the memorial of Glory was completely reconstructed here, and a bust was erected to the Hero of the Soviet Union, tankman Semyon Vasilyevich Konovalov, about whose feat the film "Indestructible" was shot. In October 2023, the memorial also had its own Alley. The department's staff planted 60 trees of the Walk of Fame here. Together with the Minister of Ecology, the first trees were planted by the villagers, whose fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers fought during the war and whose surnames are carved on the obelisk.
This year, environmentalists continued the good tradition and cleaned up at the memorial by the May holidays, planted new trees, and also updated the stele with the names of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. In total, 220 trees are planned to be planted near the memorial site in honor of each name carved on the obelisk.
