In 2025, the implementation of the Recycling School: Electronics program in support of the national Environmental Well-being project continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. In April, 8 tons of electronic and electrical equipment were collected and disposed of as part of the program.
The Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the Federal Recycling School: Electronics program, which is held in support of the national Environmental Well-Being project.
On February 26, the collection and removal of waste from electronic and electrical equipment will be organized in Kazan as part of the Recycling School: Electronics program. Residents of the capital of the republic from 18:00 to 20:30 will be able to hand over old equipment at the site of the MEGA shopping center at 141 Prospekt Pobedy Street, Kazan.
Within the framework of the Recycling Schools: Electronics program The collection and removal of waste from electronic and electrical equipment will be organized on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. From February 13 to February 14, old equipment will be accepted in Bugulminsky, Leninogorsk, Cheremshansky and Bavlinsky districts. On February 27 and 28 in Kazan, Atninsky, Arsky, Baltasinsky and Sabinsky districts.
2,123 applications have been received by the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources from organizations in Tatarstan for the free disposal of electronics since the launch of the program in the republic.
On April 6 and 7, Tatarstan citizens took an active part in the collection of electronic and electrical equipment waste in Kazan and Zelenodolsk. Budgetary institutions, their subordinate organizations, kindergartens, schools and caring residents of Tatarstan have handed over more than 4 tons of electrical waste for disposal. The Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology also joined the campaign and handed over 25 units of spent equipment for disposal. All the collected machinery and electrical equipment will be transferred for processing to a specialized ecological combine.
Since this year, within the framework of the new project "Recycling School: Electronics", schools and kindergartens of Tatarstan have had the opportunity to dispose of equipment that has served its time for free.
