How to properly get rid of e-waste? The Ministry of Ecology will help to dispose safely for nature
On February 26, the collection and removal of waste from electronic and electrical equipment will be organized in Kazan as part of the Recycling School: Electronics program. Residents of the capital of the republic from 18:00 to 20:30 will be able to hand over old equipment at the site of the MEGA shopping center at 141 Prospekt Pobedy Street, Kazan.
Accepted for disposal:
- computer and office equipment;
- household appliances (including washing machines and refrigerators);
- power tools;
- electronic scientific and medical equipment;
- phones and personal gadgets;
- electronic and electric toys;
Batteries, cartridges, equipment marked with a radiation label, mercury-containing and other lamps are not accepted under the program.

Let us recall the program "Recycling School: Electronics" (https://eko-fond.ru/electronics /) is implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of an agreement signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources. The program provides residents with an opportunity to recycle expired equipment in an environmentally friendly and convenient manner, and also contributes to achieving the goals of the national Environmental Well-being project.
