366 tons of scrap metal have been collected in Tatarstan since the beginning of the project "School of recycling: Electronics"
2,123 applications have been received by the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources from organizations in Tatarstan for the free disposal of electronics since the launch of the program in the republic. In terms of the number of registrations from budget organizations, the Republic of Tatarstan occupies a leading place among the regions participating in the federal program.
More than 366 tons of waste from electronic and electrical equipment have already been removed from the territory of 34 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The total number of organizations participating in the program was 787.
The federal program, which is implemented in support of the national project "Ecology", and from 2025 in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being", provides residents with an opportunity to transfer expired equipment for recycling in an environmentally friendly and convenient manner. It is enough to leave a request on the official website of the Program (https://eko-fond.ru/electronics /) by filling out the "Participant Registration" form.
Accepted:
• computer and office equipment;
• household appliances (including washing machines and refrigerators);
• power tools;
• Scientific and medical technology;
• phones and personal gadgets;
• Electronic and electric toys;
• cartridges (must not exceed 10% of the volume of the delivered equipment).
Batteries, equipment marked with a radiation mark, and lamps are not accepted as part of the Program.
It should be recalled that the recycling program for old electrical equipment is being implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan under an agreement signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Use of Natural Resources. The program provides an opportunity for residents to recycle expired equipment in an environmentally friendly and convenient manner, and also contributes to achieving the goals of the national Ecology project in terms of environmental education and the development of a caring attitude towards the environment.
