Residents of the city reported that in the Novo-Savinovsky district, foam of an incomprehensible color appeared on the coastal strip of the Kazanka River. Environmentalists left following the complaint.

During the first week of the two-month period (it started on April 1) in Tatarstan, the supervisory authorities of ministries and departments revealed 210 violations (100 of them were eliminated), 58 protocols were drawn up. 

 

According to the results of the 1st quarter, 521 inspections were carried out within the framework of state control (supervision) and 494 violations of environmental legislation were revealed, 489 of them were eliminated.

According to the received information about the discharge of contaminated water into the Kazanka River near the Kremlin Embankment on Tolstoy and Podluzhnaya Streets in Kazan, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with specialists of the Central Department for Environmental Supervision carried out a visit to the dumping site. 

 

Violation of the rules of water use caused the discharge of contaminated wastewater into the Ulema River. Exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations in a fishery reservoir was recorded by inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial Administration of the Ministry. According to the quarterly report of the water user submitted by the organization, exceedances of the MAC for biological oxygen consumption, ammonium ion and petroleum products were found.

Today at 9 am, the Zakamsky territorial department of the Ministry received a message  from a call center dispatcher about the accident on the Southern highway in the Nizhnekamsk district. A fuel tanker overturned in a ditch, there was a fuel spill. Inspectors together with the Department of environmental supervision went to the scene of the accident.

 

20 thousand cubic meters of sand illegally mined west of the village of Ilyinka, Nizhnekamsk. The fact of theft was recorded by inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Following the appeals of citizens, inspectors of the Kama territorial administration of the Ministry went to one of the enterprises of Avtograd.

Late payment of an administrative fine in the amount of 400 thousand rubles for violation of the conditions stipulated by the license for the use of mineral resources, led to another fine.

During environmental monitoring on the territory of the village of Verkhniye Kibya-Kozi, inspectors of the Ministry's Northern Territorial Administration discovered illegal waste storage. Garbage from demolition and disassembly of buildings littered a plot of 100 sq.m., the volume of illegal landfill was 100 cubic meters.m.
