As environmentalists found out, the owner of the land plot was drilling a well to extract groundwater in order to use it for commercial purposes at a car wash in the future, while the owner did not issue a license to use the subsoil.
According to the information received from the villagers of Kachelino Arsky district about an unpleasant smell from the Kazanka River, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly went to the place. During the survey of the territory, the complaint was confirmed, presumably an unpleasant smell could come from the treatment facilities of LLC Vodokanal-Service in Arsk.
During the monitoring of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a spill of process fluid along the Almetyevsk-Ursala highway. The spill occurred as a result of depressurization of the discharge line from the cluster pumping station to the well of the Almetyevneft oil and gas production department. The area of contamination was about 200 sq.m.
The South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received a message from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan about a spill of petroleum products near the village of Karabash Bugulminsky district, at the site of the oil and gas production workshop No. 1, owned by the Leninogorskneft oil and gas production department. Ecologists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration promptly went to the place.

According to the information received about the pollution of the Bugulminka river bank in the Bugulminsky district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan went to the place. During the survey of the territory, two landfills were identified. On one side, construction and household waste was stored on an area of 150 sq.m., on the other - car tires on an area of 75 sq.m.

According to the received information about the discharge of wastewater into Lake Svetloye of the Kirovsky district of Kazan, inspectors of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Central Department for Environmental Supervision, carried out a field visit. During the survey of the territory, the fact of discharge from the treatment facilities was confirmed. Ecologists have taken samples of natural water. According to the results of quantitative chemical analysis, an excess of 1.6 times in iron and 2.7 times in chemical oxygen consumption was revealed.
