476 thousand rubles will be paid by LLC "Biryulinsky municipal networks" for pollution of the Kazanka River

The violator in the Vysokogorsky district was obliged to compensate the damage caused to the environment in the amount of 476,938 rubles. This decision was made by the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. Last year, according to the results of the analysis of quarterly reports on the fulfillment of the conditions of use of the water body, which are provided by LLC "Biryulinsky Municipal Networks" as a water user, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan revealed excess content of pollutants in discharges from the treatment facilities of this enterprise. In the data for the I, II and III quarters, excess amounts were found for sulfates, ammonium ions and nitrites, which is a violation of the requirements of Article 56 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation.

Environmentalists calculated and presented damage to the environment in the amount of 476,938 rubles. However, the guilty person voluntarily refused to compensate for the damage. The Central Territorial Administration filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The environmentalists' claims were satisfied, the court ordered the violator to compensate for the damage caused to the environment. As of today, the Vysokogorsky District Bailiff's office has initiated enforcement proceedings regarding the application of enforcement measures.
