Environmentalists have achieved compensation for damage caused to the environment through the court
During the survey of the territory of the Sovetsky district of Kazan by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology, unauthorized placement of construction waste on Mira Street in the residential area of Samosyrovo was revealed. The area of the cluttered territory was 1,648 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 2,145 cubic meters. Environmentalists calculated the damage caused to the environment in the amount of 1,821,103 rubles.
The Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology appealed to the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan with a claim against the tenant of the land plot for damages. The ecologists' claims were satisfied by the judicial authority. However, the violator did not agree with the court's decision and appealed to the 11th Arbitration Court of Appeal, and then to the Arbitration Court of the Volga District. The appellate and cassation instances left the decision of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan unchanged. The tenant of the land has compensated for the damage caused to the environment.
