In November, reclamation of another landfill was started within the framework of the federal project “Clean Country” of the national project “Ecology” in the Republic of Tatarstan. The facility is located in Menzelinsk town.

The following works have already been carried out: clearing the southern map of the landfill, excavating the soil of the settling pit and the site for the placement of solid waste, the planning of their slopes. The construction of a geo-membrane cover for the waste disposal site, drainage pipes and a sand cushion (drainage) is being completed.

12.6 thousand square meters were not only cleared, but also landscaped. The reclamation of disturbed lands in the Shemordan village, Sabinskiy region have been completed in the framework of the federal project “Clean Country”. As a reminder, the work began in June 2020. After the technical stage - the excavation and transfer of bitumen and oil-contaminated soil waste for disposal, the contractor began biological reclamation - applying a soil-fertile layer and sowing seeds.

Today the Republic of Tatarstan has joined the “Clean Coasts” marathon. As part of the all-Russian campaign “Water of Russia”, volunteer events to clean up debris from the banks of rivers and lakes take place simultaneously throughout Russia.

For 2 hours of the clean-up, volunteers collected separately 230 bags of waste - all of them were taken out and subsequently will be processed by the regional operator of PZhKH Management Company. The Megastroy hypermarket was also a partner in the campaign.

The heads of departments assessed the progress of work at the reclaimed landfill near the Prosti village and visited the renovated Krasnoklyuchinskiy dam.

The first object, reclaimed in Tatarstan within the framework of the federal project “Clean Country”, is now at the completion stage. The degradation and disturbance of the land was expressed in the overlap of the soil with fragments of reinforced concrete structures with an area of ​​259 square meters, the disposal of bitumen waste with a volume of 1.6 thousand cubic meters, contamination of 12.6 thousand square meters of soil. 6 thousand residents of the village will feel the positive changes from the reclamation work.
