Naberezhnye Chelny schoolchildren learned about the work of environmental laboratories
An exciting tour of the laboratory of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan was conducted for students of school No. 28. The students were told about the structure of the laboratory, the responsibilities of the staff, and the principles of conducting research. Environmentalists demonstrated the operation of special devices and clearly showed how the analysis of water samples and other components takes place.
The students were active and asked the staff questions concerning not only work in the laboratory, but also other environmental specialties. The management tour allowed the students to learn firsthand about the specifics of working in the department, as well as to think about choosing a profession in their future.
This practical approach to education is carried out by the Ministry of Ecology on a regular basis: by supporting the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being", environmentalists introduce children to working scientific processes and promote the development of environmental literacy among young people.
