During the first month of the sanitary two-month period, almost 200 thousand people joined the clean-up
Since April 1, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, which takes place in support of the national project "Ecological well-being", municipalities have removed more than 97 thousand cubic meters of solid household waste, about 188 thousand people and 4.5 thousand pieces of equipment have been involved in cleaning the territories. More than 150,000 trees and shrubs have been planted in Tatarstan.
During the two-month period, the Ministry of Ecology and other supervisory authorities identified 2,216 violations of environmental legislation, of which 985 were unauthorized waste disposal.
The Ministry, together with GBU "Road Safety", continues work on monitoring the sanitary and ecological condition of roadside lanes. Four field trips have already been conducted and 59 violations have been identified. Commission detours of the right-of-way lanes of the Gorky and Kuibyshev railways have also been organized. Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Vysokogorsky, Zelenodolsky, Tukayevsky, Nizhnekamsk, Zainsky, Almetyevsky, Leninogorsky, Bugulminsky and Utazinsky districts were surveyed, 111 landfills were found.
During the monitoring of Tatarstan from the air, 424 violations were detected. 19 districts and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny were surveyed.
Enterprises of the republic's transport complex collected 4.2 thousand cubic meters of solid household waste from the right-of-way lanes, more than 1.5 thousand people and 170 units of special equipment were involved.
Information about the revealed violations is also received from residents of the republic. Since April 1, 1,027 applications have been received by the public environmental reception (669 for waste, 75 for water pollution, 102 for air pollution and 181 for other issues). A total of 1,902 applications have been received since the beginning of the year.
