Little defenders of big rivers: in Arsk, preschool children were told about the value and importance of water

9 April 2025, Wednesday

In Arsky kindergarten No. 10, an environmental lesson was held on the importance and value of water and reservoirs. Together with the inspectors of the Northern Directorate, the guys set off on an exciting journey to explore the underwater world. The children met Kapelia, a kind fairy of water resources, who shared with them the secrets of keeping reservoirs clean.

The students actively participated in educational games: they solved riddles about water and the inhabitants of reservoirs, learned a lot about the importance of rivers, seas and lakes in nature and in the life of every person. The children showed their concern for nature by taking part in the practical part of the lesson — in the form of a game, the kids cleared the improvised river of debris. This is how the children consolidated their knowledge in practice and realized how important it is to take care of the clean environment since childhood.

Such environmental lessons play a key role in fostering children's awareness of natural resources, which contributes to achieving the goals of the national Environmental Well-being project.
