The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Ecology for damages in the amount of 53 thousand rubles
The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan issued a decision on compensation for damage caused to soils in the Tyulyachinsky district. For the discharge of wastewater in September 2023, the violator will have to pay 53 thousand rubles.
Let us recall that overcrowding of cesspools on Magistralnaya Street led to contamination of about 10 sq.m. of soil. In the selected samples, environmentalists revealed excess levels of ammonium ion, chlorides and petroleum products. Upon violation of the requirements of Article 42 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation, inspectors of the Northern Department of the Ministry of Ecology calculated and presented damage. In connection with the refusal of a legal entity to compensate for damage on a voluntary basis, the Ministry sent a statement of claim to the court.
