The II Olympiad of young ecologists "Clean Heritage" started in Almetyevsk today
152 schoolchildren who showed the best result in solving the Olympiad tasks of the online stage passed the full-time stage.
In total, the organizers received 3,500 applications! Welcoming the participants, Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky stressed that already in the 2nd year of the organization of the Olympiad, it reached the All-Russian level. The correspondence stage was attended by students from the Chuvash Republic, Moscow, Samara and Chelyabinsk regions.
"You will have to show your knowledge and strengthen it even more," Yegor Tarnavsky addressed the participants. – In fact, the winners have already gathered in this hall, namely those who invest their knowledge and strength in ecology. Year by year, the initiative of environmental education and self-awareness is growing in you, in your hearts and eyes. And those figures, which are already 2 times more than the number of applications this year, I am sure, are not the limit yet. You are our future!"
Today, as part of the official opening, the organizers of the marathon "In the footsteps of good deeds" were awarded. From June to September, more than 1.5 thousand people took part in cleanups, contests, quests and festivals in support of the Olympiad.
The event continued in the format of a dialogue between speakers and participants. Answering questions, Yegor Tarnavsky noted that the Ministry of Ecology sets itself the task of instilling eco-habits in the older generation through the younger generation: "A big task lies with your teachers, mentors, because those who are inspired, educate the right generation."
The organizers of the Olympiad of young ecologists in support of the goals of the national project "Ecology" are PJSC Tatneft named after V. D. Shashin and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The intellectual competition is attended by students of grades 5-9, the winners will be announced on November 2.
