Andrey Vasilyevich Ermolaev, an experienced employee of the Ministry, an ecologist with 40 years of work experience, is going on a well-deserved rest today. At the weekly meeting, Minister Alexander Shadrikov congratulated and thanked his colleague for years of honest work and dedication to his chosen cause. His great contribution to environmental protection has also been noted at the federal level – Andrey Vasilyevich was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation "Excellent Student of Nature Protection".
A geographer by education, he began his professional career as a state inspector of the Volga Territorial Administration for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Control in Kazan. Already in 1990, as a young specialist, he headed the department of the Kazan City Committee for Nature Protection of the State Committee of the Tatar ASSR for Nature Protection.
In 1993, Andrey Vasilyevich got a job at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan as an atmospheric air protection specialist and has not changed his chosen path since then. For three decades, there have been updates to the name of the department, and a change of leadership, but our hero has always remained the connecting thread between the past and the present of the Ministry. Having a lot of experience and knowledge, Andrey Vasilyevich will always come to the rescue, prompt and support in difficult times, colleagues speak about him.
