Kindness will save the world! Today in Kazan, the participants of the online marathon #ChangetheWorldAroundMe were awarded

9 October 2024, Wednesday

To participate in the online marathon #ChangetheWorldAroundMe, you had to record a video (up to 1 minute), where you had to show or tell how exactly the participant was changing the world around him. The finished video was posted by the participants from their VKontakte profile with the hashtags #ChangetheWorldAroundMe #molparlamentrt.

The results of the marathon were summed up today at a press conference in Tatmedia. As noted by the organizers of the contest - the Youth Parliament under the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, more than 400 works came to the online marathon. The winners were determined by both the organizers and the residents of Tatarstan themselves, by voting in the VKontakte group of the Youth Parliament of the Republic of Tatarstan. There were a lot of amazing ideas and stories on the environmental theme among the works. So, Yasmina Kamaletdinova from Kazan collects recyclables together with her parents, Yevgeny Ivanchenko disposes of batteries, and the guys from the Nurlat school became yunnats and help the Aksubaevsky animal shelter. These are just a few examples of how children are changing the world for the better!

A letter of thanks signed by Ecology Minister Alexander Shadrikov, as well as a special prize from the Ministry of Ecology, was received by the Fedorov family, which has been adhering to the principles of reasonable consumption for many years, sorting waste, handing over waste paper, disposing of batteries, helping animal shelters.

"Today we are here to celebrate the winners of the "Changing the World Around" contest! This is 400 people, 400 hearts beating in unison with nature, 400 hands doing good!  Each of you is a small but bright star, and together we are creating an entire galaxy – a Megagalaxy of good deeds, changing the world for the better, step by step, day by day," said Elena Veselova, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Ecology, awarding the winners.
