In Kazan, the eco-educational laboratory "Citizen Scientist" brought together more than a hundred participants
As part of the Kazanka Development Strategy, the project "Citizen Scientist" on the ecology of his hometown and the river has been completed.
The city laboratory in support of the national project "Ecology" brought together more than 20 experts and 100 participants who immersed themselves in theoretical and practical exercises together. They studied the nature of their native land, and also learned what contribution each of us can make to the preservation of the surrounding world. This year, the project "Citizen Scientist" expanded its geography and took place not only on Kazanka, but also on Knox, Volga and Sviyaga.
11 classes of various formats were prepared for the participants. They saw a white-tailed eagle, a huge sturgeon, found out what sailing communities there are and walked kilometers along Tatarstan rivers.
Let us recall that the project "Citizen Scientist" has been running for 3 years and became a finalist of the I All-Russian Park Award in the nomination "Environmental campaign".
The organizers of the project are the Kazanka Development Strategy Team, the Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan City Hall, the Institute for Urban Development of Tatarstan with the support of Kazan Federal University, the State Committee for Bioresourcesy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
