From January 1 to September 20, 2024, 17 automatic air pollution control stations of the Ministry of Ecology performed more than 3.096 million measurements, including five AAPCSs in Kazan performed more than 960 thousand measurements.
According to the data received from the stations, exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of hydrogen sulfide were recorded last week:
— at AAPCS-1 (Osinovo village, Zelenodolsky microdistrict), exceedances were detected on September 14, 15 and on the night of September 18-19.
— on AAPCS-5 (Kazan, I. Shakirov, 3) excess was recorded on the night of September 13-14, in the evening of September 14 and 15, on the night of September 16-17 and September 18.
No excess pollutants were detected at the other AAPCSs located in Kazan.
Let us recall that one of the established sources of atmospheric air pollution with hydrogen sulfide in the northern part of Kazan was an inoperable sewage system in the village of Osinovo. On September 19, a night trip to the village of Osinovo was carried out, air samples were taken using a mobile laboratory. Sewage overflow is carried out on the terrain, the total area of pollution has already amounted to 569 sq.m. Exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were recorded in the soil and air. Previously, the damage caused to nature was estimated at 2.7 million rubles. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan sent all the materials to the court.
Additionally, we inform you that due to technical work, the measurement results from automatic air pollution control stations in real time are not displayed on the Environmental Map of the Republic of Tatarstan.
