A statement of claim was sent to the Zelenodolsk City Court to recognize the inaction on the part of the Executive Committee of the Zelenodolsk district as illegal. The damage caused to the environment has not been compensated, land reclamation has not been carried out.
Let us recall that in July we wrote that one of the established sources of atmospheric air pollution with hydrogen sulfide in the northern part of Kazan was an inoperable sewage system in the village of Osinovo. Sewage overflow was carried out on the terrain, the total area of pollution was 569 m2.
Exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were recorded in the soil and air. The damage was estimated at 2.7 million rubles.
As a result of inaction on the part of municipal authorities, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan appealed to the court. The requirements for stopping the discharge of wastewater to the soil and the obligation of the defendant to eliminate violations of environmental legislation by conducting land reclamation are outlined. As part of the trial, the co-defendant also involved the Executive Committee of the Osinovsky rural settlement.
Due to repeated dumping and an increase in the spill area, the amount of damage caused to the environment will be recalculated.
