Alexander Shadrikov presented a new national project "Environmental well-being" to journalists

The national project "Ecology" is coming to its end. But the work on reducing the negative impact on the environment will not stop there. By decision of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the launch of a new national project "Environmental well-being" has been initiated, which will be a logical continuation of the previous one.

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov told reporters today about the funds allocated within the framework of the project and planned events in the Republic of Tatarstan. He said that the new national project will include 6 federal projects with a deadline of 2025-2030.

Federal project "Water of Russia" will combine the directions of the federal projects "Improvement of the Volga River" and "Preservation of unique water bodies". The amount of financing according to the project passport will amount to 210.15 billion rubles.

The federal Clean Country project will be replaced by General Cleaning. The aim of the project will also be to prevent environmental pollution and ensure the environmental safety of the population by eliminating accumulated environmental damage and other ownerless facilities.

At least 50 such facilities are expected to be liquidated on the territory of the Russian Federation, and their list will be formed and approved after the assessment and categorization of the facilities. 157.3 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes.

According to Alexander Shadrikov, within the framework of the federal project in Tatarstan, it is planned to reclaim the landfill in the city of Nurlat with an area of 21.9 hectares.

The formation of a closed–cycle economy, which by 2030 ensures the sorting of 100% of the volume of solid municipal waste generated annually, the burial of no more than 50% of such waste and the involvement in economic turnover of at least 25% of production and consumption waste as secondary resources and raw materials - indicators that are planned to be achieved within the framework of the new project "The economy of a closed cycle". The allocated amount of financing will amount to 554.1 billion rubles.

The activities of the federal Clean Air project will be aimed at improving the quality of life of the population in 29 participating cities of the project by reducing emissions of dangerous pollutants into the atmospheric air. The amount of financing is 127.1 billion rubles.

Also, 159.3 billion rubles will be allocated for "Forest conservation" and 46.1 billion rubles for "Conservation of biological diversity and development of ecological tourism".

To date, the national project "Environmental Well-being" from the Republic of Tatarstan has included 7 events totaling 1.3 billion rubles.
