Over 920 cubic meters of garbage will be removed from the territory of an illegal landfill near the village of Pigoli
Near the village of Pigoli, Nikolsky rural settlement of Laishevsky district, work is being completed to eliminate an unauthorized landfill. Illegal waste disposal was revealed during a helicopter flyby at the end of last year.
Then inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology found that about 700 square meters of territory were littered with waste from construction and repair work, used car tires and household garbage. The total volume of stored garbage amounted to over 920 cubic meters.
The event is being implemented at the expense of funds from environmental revenues within the framework of an agreement between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committee of the district. In the near future, the territory will be brought into proper sanitary and ecological condition.
