Campers of the Dobry camp spent a day with environmentalists today
The profile shift "Ecology of the soul" is taking place these days at the children's health camp "Dobry". More than 100 schoolchildren are gaining strength and knowledge in the institution of the Vysokogorsky district.
They spent today with real environmental professionals. They got acquainted with the mobile environmental laboratory and learned about the methods of atmospheric air analysis.
The environmental day continued with a lively conversation with Olga Artemyeva, Head of the Department of Environmental Education and Interaction with Public organizations. She informed the children about the Ministry's competitions in which they can take part – these are Eco-sports, School Eco-patrol and Eco-leader. It turned out that among the campers there is not just a participant, but also a prize-winner of one of these contests. "This year I participated in the Eco-spring competition and took 2nd place, I won a smart watch. From the first week we started actively fulfilling all the tasks of the competition," Marina Bykovskaya said.
"Great gifts are also waiting for active participants of the "School Eco-patrol" and "Eco-leader". We invite everyone to participate!" stressed Olga Artemyeva.
It should be recalled that students of general education organizations from 1st to 11th grade can become participants in the republican competition "School Eco-patrol", aimed at identifying and eliminating unauthorized landfills. The competition is held annually from September 1 to August 31.
The acceptance of applications for the republican Eco-leader competition will begin on September 1.
