10 landfills were discovered by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology on the territory of Lake Izumrudnoye
Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology, together with the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office, the Department of Rospotrepnadzor and the Administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts, had previously conducted an inspection near Izumrudny. 10 points of unauthorized waste storage were found in the adjacent territory of the lake and near the forest planting.
Today, the territory was inspected together with journalists.
"This place is not an official beach, it is a place of rest by the lake. Because of this, there are no container sites where people could dispose of waste. There is such clutter around, because not everyone takes garbage with them, but leaves it near water and forests," said Anna Salakhova, inspector of the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology.
A warning will be sent to the Administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts about the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the elimination of landfills.
