A seminar on water use issues was held in the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology
A seminar was held in the territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in Chistopol with the participation of representatives of the Scientific and Production Association for Geology and Subsoil Use of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was organized in order to raise awareness in the field of permits for the use of groundwater and surface waters.
The key topics for discussion were the basics of legislation in the field of water use and licensing of groundwater; types of water use subject to registration of permits; practical aspects of applying for solutions, contracts; as well as liability for violations in the field of groundwater and surface water use. Clarifications and necessary consultations have been provided on all issues.
Conducting such practical seminars makes it possible to prevent violations due to ignorance and to be aware of changes in legal requirements.
