Over the past week, air pollution control stations have recorded hydrogen sulfide exceedances

2 August 2024, Friday

This is AAPCS-1 in c. Osinovo of Zelenodolsk district and AAPCS-5 in Kazan (I.  Shakirov st, 3).

No excess pollutants were detected at the remaining automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan from July 26 to August 2.

We also inform you that some of the equipment is under diagnosis and verification:

- gas analyzer for measuring formaldehyde at AAPCS-1 (Osinovo village, Zelenodolsky district)

- gas analyzer for phenol measurement at AAPCS-5 (Kazan, I. Shakirov ave., 3)

- gas analyzer for the determination of dihydrosulfide and sulfur dioxide at AAPCS-2 (Kazan, Pavlyukhin str., 75)

- gas analyzer for measuring carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and ammonia at AAPCS-4 (Kazan, 26 Chetaev str.)

- a gas analyzer for measuring phenol at AAPCS-3 (Kazan, 76 Maksimov str.).

With this in mind, data on phenol at AAPCS-5, formaldehyde at AAPCS-1, dihydrosulfide and sulfur dioxide at AAPCS-2, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and ammonia at AAPCS-4 are not displayed on the Ecological Map of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In total, since the beginning of the year, 17 automatic stations for monitoring atmospheric air pollution have performed more than 2.586 million measurements, including five automatic stations for monitoring atmospheric air pollution in Kazan performed more than 793 thousand measurements.
