Applications for the Republican festival "Young Naturalists – defenders of Nature of Tatarstan" continue to be accepted
Until September 23, schoolchildren, young students and teachers can take part in the festival "Young Naturalists – defenders of Nature of Tatarstan", which the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan is holding in support of the national project "Ecology".
You can apply for any of the five proposed contests:
– The best research work (two age categories - 10-13 years old and 14-16 years old) – realized research works in the field of natural sciences and ecology are accepted for participation in the competition.
– The best Young Naturalist – the competition is a demonstration of the achievements of young researchers in the field of botany, zoology and ecology, a healthy lifestyle and an active lifestyle. To participate in the competition, you must be a young naturalist, keep a diary of a young naturalist, and participate in eco-activities.
– The best squad of young naturalists – the competition involves completing a package of tasks in the field of development of the movement of young naturalists and sending their report, which includes information about all the activities carried out by the squad.
– Protected trails (competition for teachers) – the competition is aimed at the methodological development and conduct of ecological and local history excursions, as well as the development of routes of ecological trails.
– Ecology of the native land is a project competition for which research and environmental education projects from the detachment are accepted.
Applications will be accepted until September 23, 2024. Following the results of the festival, a gathering of young naturalists is held annually, at which the participants' works are defended in person, as well as the winners are awarded.

Lt us recall that since 2018, the Ministry of Ecology, together with the regional branch of the All-Russian public organization "Russian Geographical Society" and the regional youth public organization "It will be Clean" in the Republic of Tatarstan, has been working to intensify the activities of the movement of young naturalists. The events contribute to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Ecology".
