2 July 2024, Tuesday

1773 applications have been received by the Fund for Rational Environmental Management from organizations of Tatarstan for free recycling of electronics since the start of the program in the republic. In terms of the number of registrations from budget organizations, the Republic of Tatarstan occupies a leading place among the regions participating in the federal program.

276 tons of waste of electronic and electrical equipment have already been removed from the territory of 32 settlements of the republic. The total number of organizations participating in the program was 631.

Let us recall that in August 2022, on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Nature Management (Moscow Region) signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of environmental programs. After the signing of the federal program "School of recycling: Electronics", it became widespread in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. And since 2023, on the initiative of Tatarstan, the program has become available to individuals.

The federal program provides an opportunity for residents to transfer expired equipment for recycling in an environmentally friendly and convenient way. It is enough to leave a request on the official website of the Program (https://eko-fond.ru/electronics/) by filling out the "Participant Registration" form.
