The program of the profile shift "Young Ecologist" united 80 children from 6 districts of the republic
From June 15 to July 2, the republican profile shift "Young Ecologist" takes place at the Duslyk educational and wellness center. Now about 80 children from 6 districts of the republic are spending time and being educated here.
The program of changing the environmental orientation includes master classes from institutions of additional education, team building and unifying games, sports, entertainment, and creative events.
Today, specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan came to visit the children. We discussed contests in which they can take an active part, and in a question-and-answer format we talked about what contribution the guys can make to environmental protection. The children talked about why it is so important to be environmentally friendly nowadays, and also tested their knowledge in a master class on waste sorting.
"It is encouraging to see such enthusiasm and a desire to protect our nature in schoolchildren. And it doesn't matter at all whether you become environmentalists in the future, the main thing is to keep today's feeling in yourself for the rest of your life. After all, ecology is not just a science, profession or vocation, it is a state of mind!" said Olga Artemyeva, Head of the Environmental Education Department at the Ministry of Ecology.
