Inspectors of the Volga-Kama department found a drain of petroleum products in the Chistopolsky district
The Ministry of Ecology received an appeal from residents about the discharge of an unknown substance in the village of Galaktionovo in the Chistopol district. Inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department, together with specialists from the environmental supervision department, went to the site and conducted a survey of the territory.
Upon inspection of the land plot, the fact of the drain was confirmed. Inspectors found the discharge of petroleum products from the territory of the plant of vegetable oils "Chistopolsky". The area of contamination was 300 sq.m.
Soil samples were taken by specialists. According to the results of the study, an excess of the permissible concentration of petroleum products by 3.8 times was revealed.
Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology issued a warning to the director of the plant of vegetable oils "Chistopolsky" about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the need to eliminate violations within 60 days.
