The Arbitration Court of the Republic ruled in favor of environmentalists
The violator in Nizhnekamsk district was obliged to compensate for the damage caused to the environment in the amount of 19 million rubles. This decision was made by the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In April, inspectors of the Zakamsky department revealed unauthorized waste storage in the water protection zone of the Alanka River and next to it.
In the water protection zone, the clutter area was 492 sq.m., the volume was 345 cubic meters. Outside the water protection zone - 288 sq.m., volume - 241 cubic meters.
The land plot is privately owned by an individual entrepreneur. Environmentalists calculated and presented damage to the environment in the amount of 19 million 283 thousand rubles. Zakamskoe TA filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The environmentalists' claims were fully satisfied. The court ordered the violator to compensate for the damage caused to the environment.
