The students of Arsk primary school No. 3 visited the staff of the Northern Department.
The inspectors gave the children a tour, introduced them to the activities of the department and told them how important it is to protect the world around them. According to the students, they remember most of all the laboratory where environmentalists conduct chemical analyses. The children were clearly shown how water, air, and soil samples are made, how bacteria move under the influence of ordinary soap, how daphnia work, which help to check water quality and other studies.
"It's great that children are interested in the world around them from an early age. The opportunity to see the work of employees from the inside and participate in various experiments will help them get to know the profession of an ecologist better," the employees of the Northern Department said.
