Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology promptly left following the request of residents about the discharge of waste in the Nurlat district

16 May 2024, Thursday

The Ministry of Ecology received an appeal from residents about the discharge of industrial waste, presumably from the Tyurnyasevsky dairy plant. Residents were worried that the waste could end up in the Bolshaya Sulcha River. Employees of the Southeastern Department left for the village of Tyurnyasevo.

Upon inspection of the territory, the facts of the appeal were partially confirmed. The waste did not enter the Bolshaya Sulcha River, but a cloudy liquid with a specific odor was found on the territory of the land plot adjacent to the river. The area of waste discharge of cheese products and cottage cheese was 1,560 sq. m.

Experts took water samples in the Bolshaya Sulcha River and at the discharge site. At the moment, the samples are being tested in the laboratory.
