Environmentalists have identified excess hydrogen sulfide in the Tukayevsky district of the republic
During the 2 weeks of March, the Ministry of Ecology received more than 15 complaints from residents of the Tukayevsky district of the republic, in particular from residents of Knyazevsky and Komsomolsk rural settlements. People complained of a fetid smell from the pig breeding complex of Kamsky Bacon LLC, located on the territory of Komsomolsky rural settlement.
Kamsky Bacon LLC is subject to federal environmental supervision, which is carried out by Rosprirodnadzor. Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology responded promptly and conducted several field surveys of the territory using a mobile environmental laboratory. The specialists took samples of atmospheric air at departure for each complaint. According to the results of recent analyses, exceedances in the maximum permissible concentration of hydrogen sulfide were revealed. So, on March 18, in the village of Komsomolets, on the border of the sanitary protection zone of Kamsky Bacon LLC, an excess of hydrogen sulfide was detected by 3 times, and on March 21 in the village of Sosnovy Bor, on Magistralnaya Street, the content of hydrogen sulfide in the air was exceeded by 13.8 times.
Since Kamsky Bacon LLC is subject to federal environmental supervision, all materials on this case have been redirected under the jurisdiction of the Department of Rosprirodnadzor.
