Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology visited the Islamic center "Ilkham" in Buinsk and conducted an environmental lesson. The lesson was held in their native Tatar language, and the main theme was caring for nature as part of Muslim culture. "Do no harm, and there will be no harm!" is one of the commandments, which has already become a moral guideline uniting people of various faiths and confessions. In Muslim culture, as in other cultures of the world, they teach to love and protect nature, take care of water, and not desecrate springs and reservoirs.
The guys told the environmentalists about their kind attitude to the world around them. Throughout the winter, the children fed the birds, and with the arrival of spring, they renovate and hang out birdhouses, take care of stray animals. The Ilkham center also has its own living area, where rabbits, parrots, and turtles live. Each pet has a name and its own character here. For example, Gosha rabbit is the most restless inhabitant of a living corner, loves to get to know guests and loves to sit in the arms of the guys. Not all of the children have the opportunity to keep pets at home. Therefore, communication with pets causes children to feel a sense of responsibility, care, and love for four-legged friends. Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology say: "Children who take care of animals grow up kind, caring, attentive, can not harm anyone. Therefore, the living area performs a very important educational function." In addition, animals always lift one’s spirits, so it is also a kind of psychological relaxation room. In memory of the eco-lesson, all the children received gifts from the Ministry of Ecology – coloring pages.
